Hi, I shared a mess space with Ray for some months on HMS Glamorgan at the beginning of the 80’s. A great guy, fun, energetic, and passionate about his interests and family back home. We shared a few beers from time to time; I even had to cut his hair once when we were away for a while, ha. Sorry to hear of his death, but he will have made a lasting impression on the world
